Our team of motivated employees is looking to hire an additional mechanic (m/f/d) for our sewage treatment plant technology division.

Alfred Woltering Stahl- und Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG specialises in the manufacture of medium and large CNC precision parts, complex welded constructions and turnkey system components for a variety of industries. The company is also successfully operating an independent business unit for sewage treatment plant construction. The product range encompasses all plant components in modern sewage treatment technology, such as rotary and vertical scrapers, ventilation systems and pumping stations.

This will be your tasks:

  • Pre-assembly/assembly and shipment-ready supply of our mechanical sewage treatment plant components (stainless steel welded assemblies and mechanical functional assemblies) in our factory.
  • Commissioning and provision of all components, procured parts and tools for external assembly.
  • Final assembly and commissioning of the mechanical sewage treatment plant components at nationwide assembly sites.
  • Deployment on daily construction sites and multi-day assembly assignments of up to 4 days (Mon-Thu), exclusively in Germany.

Your profile:

  • A vocational training as a metal worker, locksmith, industrial mechanic or similar.
  • Extensive experience in the assembly of machinery components, ideally at alternating operating sites
  • Knowledge of the TIG welding process is preferable
  • You read and comprehend technical drawings
  • You are characterised by your flexibility and team spirit thus empowering your team
  • Methodical work ethic and assertive appearance
  • You display a high degree of intrinsic motivation and have a keen sense of cost-effectiveness.
